If you are currently Atlassian SME or aspire to be one, then this is the opportunity you have been looking for.PROJECT:Parsons is managing a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of War to provide support for a variety of services, applications, and software development efforts.RESPONSIBLITIES:Parsons is seeking an Atlassian SME to perform the following:Design and administration of multiple Jira Software (Agile Scrum) and Service Desk/Service Management projectsDesign and implementation of Confluence spaces leveraging advanced functionality and design techniques to provide sophisticated solutions with a high degree of usabilityDesign and administration of multiple Jira Assets schemas supporting a variety of use-cases that extend Assets’s functionality well beyond core asset management capabilitiesWorking with customer teams to understand their business processes and needs, help them understand the capabilities of the Atlassian tools, and develop solutions that deliver significant valueProvide informal, unstructured training sessions with end-users to help them become more self-sufficient at administering and managing their own projects and spacesCreating skeleton technical Jira project reference documentation in Confluence for use by other Jira project administratorsQUALIFICATIONS:4-year degree in Computer Science or related curriculum from an accredited institution preferred, but not required.12+ years or more in a technology related field.Must be US Citizen.Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.Experience supporting multiple Jira projects, Confluence spaces, and Assets schemas simultaneously in support of different user teamsExperience supporting Agile Scrum teamsAdvanced JQL and IQL skills (including Scriptrunner)Experience with advanced Confluence page designExperience with Jira automations (legacy and project), including using smart valuesExperience analyzing and translating structured datasets into Jira Assets schema designsAtlassian certification highly desirableJira & Assets API experience a plusCertified Scrum Master certification a plus ​SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skillsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsDecisive and confidentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsFlexibleStrong written and verbal communicate skillsSelf-MotivatedAbility to facilitate/lead IT projects and teams desiredWorking knowledge of Facilities processes is helpful.Security Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
