Position Summary
Sephora is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the Promotions domain within the Client Engagement product portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution of promotion-related capabilities and business processes.
The successful candidate will partner with business leaders, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to define product vision, prioritize initiatives, and deliver impactful customer experiences. This role requires strong product leadership, strategic thinking, technical collaboration, and experience leveraging AI-powered tools throughout the product lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Management

• Own and manage the Promotions product roadmap aligned with Sephora's business objectives.
• Define product vision, objectives, success metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Monitor retail, ecommerce, loyalty, and technology trends to identify innovation opportunities.
• Leverage AI tools to support roadmap planning, analysis, and progress tracking.
• Drive continuous product improvement through customer research, market analysis, store feedback, and performance insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing, Digital, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders to define and execute promotion strategies.

• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Build strong relationships across product domains and business functions.

Product Delivery & Technical Execution

• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality promotion capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.
• Ensure successful execution of roadmap initiatives using Agile methodologies.
• Support product development processes and maintain product documentation.
• Utilize AI-assisted product management and development tools to improve efficiency and delivery quality.
• Coach team members on emerging AI-powered product development practices.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Identify opportunities to improve cross-functional processes and operational efficiency.
• Design and implement scalable workflows and governance processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the product organization.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of Product Management experience within ecommerce, retail technology, or related industries.
• Proven experience managing promotions, customer engagement, loyalty, or related product domains.
• Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies.
• Experience delivering customer-centric digital products and UX-focused solutions.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Leadership Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience leading Agile product teams, pods, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, influence, and communication skills.

I & Emerging Technology Experience

• Minimum 1+ year of experience utilizing AI tools to improve product management processes and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA or related field) preferred.

• Familiarity with promotion engines, campaign management systems, or loyalty ecosystems.
