Shipping & Receiving Associate

Accountable For • Receiving packages quickly as they arrive and performing inspections to verify records on file.
• Continuously placing items into inventory throughout the day to ensure warehouse organization and safety.
• Picking and staging individual components from inventory for Fabricators to use in the building of equipment. • Packing items to guarantee safe travel to customers and verifying correct addresses to shipping locations. • Entering transactional information into the company's ERP system.
• Building custom crates for fabricated items ready to be shipped.
Requirements • Education / Work Experience: High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic proficiency with computers. ERP experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with FedEx and UPS software.
• Experience and comfortability with basic hand/power tools. Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Working knowledge of shop math and ability to use measuring tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work required schedule.
