Data Analyst - Fraud Intelligence

Joining a remote-first team, the full-time Data Analyst - Fraud Intelligence will design evaluation frameworks, analyze vendor data quality, and translate findings into actionable intelligence to enhance fraud detection strategies. Key responsibilities Design and execute structured evaluation frameworks for assessing incoming data assets from vendor partners Conduct lift analyses and backtests to quantify the value of new data signals against existing fraud detection methods Collaborate with fraud leadership to define evaluation criteria based on real fraud outcomes and document results for internal knowledge Required qualifications 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related analytical role, preferably in fraud or fintech Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis Solid understanding of evaluation metrics and statistical concepts, including A/B testing and precision/recall Experience working with external datasets and assessing data quality and signal value Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to non-technical stakeholders
