About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Stepdown or progressive care experience Telemetry experience Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 40 Staffing Structure: - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 bedside nurses, 4 Patient Care Technicians, 1 Unit Secretary - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 bedside nurses, 3 Patient Care Technicians Patient Ratios: 1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio Type of Patients: Patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, post-cardiac catheterization/stent, post-pacer/ICD/ablation. Type of Equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipment, bladder scanner, EMR - Cerner Preferred Qualifications: Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) Relief charge experience Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Bedside cardioversion Best Personality Fit: Flexible Positive attitude Great team player Compassionate Floating Area: All MedSurg units, stepdown units, and ER holding. Dress Code: All white or all navy blue or white top and navy blue pants. Weekends: Every other weekend. General Comments: Position created due to contractor replacement. About Cynet Health
