Calibration Technician

The Senior Calibration Technician will work with a wide range of test and measurement equipment while supporting quality, accuracy, ISO 17025 compliance, and continuous improvement within the lab. As the company grows, this role may also offer opportunities to take on additional technical leadership and team support responsibilities.

• Perform calibration, verification, adjustment, and troubleshooting of test and measurement equipment.
• Handle complex calibration assignments independently with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose equipment issues and support repair-related activities when needed.
• Develop, improve, and document calibration procedures and technical methods.
• Prepare accurate calibration certificates, records, and service documentation.
• Support ISO 17025 compliance, audit readiness, and accreditation requirements.
• Review customer requirements and determine calibration feasibility and scope.
• Assist with technical escalations and unusual measurement problems.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians when needed.
• Support onsite calibration work at customer locations when required.
• Help improve laboratory workflows, processes, automation, and technical capabilities.
• Work with sales and customer-facing teams to answer technical questions.

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology, Engineering, Physics, Metrology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on calibration experience required; 8 15+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, traceability, and calibration best practices.
• Experience working in an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and measurement issues.
• Repair experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with calibration automation software such as MET/CAL, SureCAL, LabVIEW, or similar tools is preferred.
• RF calibration experience is a plus.
• High-voltage testing experience is a plus.
• Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and maintain high accuracy.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation required.
