Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students from Early Childhood through 12th grade as a Bilingual School Psychologist. This full-time, contract position spans the academic year, from early August to early June, and involves providing vital psychological services across multiple campuses in the Plano, TX area. You’ll play an essential role in advancing academic and emotional success by performing evaluations, attending ARD meetings, and collaborating closely with students, staff, and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
• Previous experience working within school-based settings.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population ages 3-18.
• Must be available for on-site services; this position is not open to remote work.
• Itinerant role, traveling between assigned schools as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students from early childhood through high school.
• Attend and participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and administrative staff to support individualized education plans.
• Manage a rotating monthly caseload of 9 students, ensuring timely evaluation and intervention.
• Maintain meticulous records in accordance with state and district guidelines.
• Foster a culturally responsive, inclusive environment for bilingual students.

Please note: Fingerprint clearance through TEA is required prior to starting if not recently completed for another public school district.
