Interventional Radiology Technologist Plano, TX Specialty: Interventional Radiology Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $3284 - $3957 | Shift: 4x10 Days, CALL REQUIRED: Call shifts are M-F 1730-0700, Sat & Sun 0700-0700, Average about 10 call shifts per month Are you an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist looking for your next adventure? Our healthcare partner in Plano, TX is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team and perform cutting-edge IR procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where your skills will be challenged and your expertise valued. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of IR procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will ensure the highest quality of imaging and patient care by adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Perform high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner
- Utilize effective communication to ensure patient understanding and comfort
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness and functionality
- Screen individuals entering the department according to approved policies
- Maintain accurate medical imaging records
- Provide training and support to new team members
- Take call as required
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- BLS (AHA Only), ARRT, VI certifications required
- Experience scrubbing Neuro IR cases
