In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex defense programs, ensuring successful execution, and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects and drive the growth of our defense business.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage multiple defense programs, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with project objectives.Develop and maintain program plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management plans.Monitor program performance and progress, identifying and addressing issues or risks as they arise.Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork to achieve project goals.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.Manage stakeholder expectations and communications, providing timely and accurate reporting on program status, milestones, and deliverables.Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies, driving continuous improvement initiatives across programs.Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex defense programs from inception to completion.Strong understanding of program management principles, methodologies, and best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.Experience with contract management, budgeting, and financial management.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.Desired Qualifications:Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other program management tools and techniques.Knowledge of defense acquisition processes and regulations.Experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and develop strategic partnerships.
