Unit Information

• Number of Beds: Licensed for 767 beds
• Patient Ratios: Based on a point system and dependent on staffing
• Equipment: Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 Bipap, Vapo therm, Airvo for high flow
• EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Adult critical care, high-volume emergency department with trauma experience
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Blood gas draw, blood gas processing on GEM, and blood gas interpretation
• Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory patients throughout all areas including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, and trauma patients
• Personality Fit: Strong, confident therapist with good time management skills who is willing to assist coworkers as time allows

• Scrub Color: Black
• Unacceptable Attire: Mercy standard scrubs must be black

Additional Information

Pediatric patients are stabilized in the emergency department and transported to sister facilities as required.
