About This Position

Primerica Mortgage is a dynamic business with significant growth potential. Our goal is to help our middle-income clients with their mortgage needs, grow our mortgage-licensed sales force and expand the geographic breadth of our reach. We have partnered with a leading lender and implemented the latest generation of point of sale technology to support our mortgage-licensed representatives in building their mortgage business. The Mortgage Licensing Specialist will support the growth of Primerica's mortgage licensed sales force. As an in-house expert on the mortgage licensing process, the Specialist will provide guidance and services to our Reps throughout the process and assist them with completing the steps necessary to obtain their mortgage license. Contact with state regulators and/or third-party vendors may be required to assist with expediting the licensing process. The Specialist will have significant contact with members of our sales force, hence interpersonal skills and a desire to be of assistance are critical to success. This position works in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility to be able to change directions quickly. The ideal candidate for this position will thrive upon being an individual contributor as well as an excellent team player. This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite at our Duluth, Georgia office and remotely multiple days each week. Location: Duluth, GA. Salary range between $50K - $52K Annually.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Ensure Reps can efficiently become mortgage licensed originators ("MLO")
• Process licensing tasks within required timeframes and ensure accurate record keeping
• Communicate and respond in a timely and professional manner to multiple lines of communication
• Understand key mortgage licensing requirements by state
• Build relationships with internal and external parties at all management levels
• Become an expert in the NMLS system and licensing process
• Perform other related duties as assigned and required

Job Requirements:

• College Degree or equivalent business experience
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational, decision-making and judgment ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to quickly and efficiently adapt to changes in procedures or policies
• Self-starter with a can-do, positive approach
• Willingness to be flexible as business scales rapidly and pitch in where possible

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience working in NMLS / Mortgage Licensing experience is preferred

Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8-5 or 9-6

This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite at our Duluth, Georgia office and remotely multiple days each week.
