Sr Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Technical Delivery:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality software solutions aligned with business and architectural standards.
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex features or systems, from requirements through production support.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure quality, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues and provide root‑cause analysis.
• Architecture & Design:
  • Contribute to system and application architecture decisions.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and cloud‑ready where applicable.
  • Collaborate with architects on long‑term technical roadmaps.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Work closely with product managers, business analysts, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid‑level engineers.
  • Influence engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Quality, Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, performance, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in audits, security reviews, and risk assessments as needed.
  • Promote test automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI.

Qualifications

• Undergrad college degree.
• 5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications.
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow scripting like JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rule, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies.
• 5+ years of experience developing and configuring: Forms, lists, tables, and workflows, Flow Designer, Notifications and SLAs.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Update Sets and application deployment.
