Patient Access Coordinator

To support a growing outpatient behavioral healthcare practice, the remote Patient Access Coordinator will manage the registration process, document patient information, and schedule appointments while ensuring a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities: Handles a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to facilitate a positive customer/patient experience Accurately documents comprehensive demographic and health information into the electronic health record system Schedules appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrix, engaging in outreach activities as needed Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred One year of customer service or call center experience required, preferably in healthcare Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Virtual Vocations Inc
