Functional Family Therapist

South Central Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Functional Family Therapist in Jamestown, ND.

This position may be eligible for a Sign on Bonus at a minimum of $10,000.

This position is also eligible for 5% FFT differential pay

Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.

We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary teams. This role involves providing individual, group, and adults, youth, and Functional Family Therapy to families experiencing a range of behavioral and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate is dedicated to promoting wellness, resilience, and recovery through evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach.

In a typical week, you will provide services to 5 FFT families and provide individual/group services to both youth and adults. You will complete assessments and service plans, be involved in the organizing, directing, and guiding of care provided by other team members, as well as ongoing monitoring and update of service recommendations. You will provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, in the community and on-call. Along with direct services you will participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development.

You should also have effective interpersonal and relationship skills and be able to individualize program interventions to utilize adolescent/family strengths.

This position is located in Jamestown. Typical work schedule includes evenings and the ability to be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of families. Most therapists can build their full-time schedules around their caseload to create an alternate work schedule, leaving time for family, schooling, or self-care. We also offer flexibility for classes, internship possibilities within our organization, and the availability for licensure supervision.

To be considered for the Clinician position, you are required to have a master's degree in social work, Counseling, or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as an LCSW or LPCC.

• OR master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy AND licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy
• OR a master's degree in social work, Counseling, or Psychology with eligibility for licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.
• OR a Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.

We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor at a reduced rate.

Human Relations Counselors must have master's degrees in counseling and LAPC licensure, as well as be within two years of LPCC licensure. Details regarding licensure status and the number of training hours already obtained must be submitted with the application.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.

Location
This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.
