Warehouse Associate / Non-CDL Driver

POSITION SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to fulfill customer orders by performing general shipping and receiving tasks, such as loading, unloading, checking, and storing material and making deliveries to local customers (Non-CDL). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Properly and safely stock materials in our warehouse along with pulling inventory for deliveries and customer pickups. Use powered equipment to pull inventory and load and unload trucks for deliveries. Responsible to accurately complete inventory counts. WORK ACTIVITIES Handling and Moving Objects -Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things. Performing General Physical Activities -Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Getting Information -Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates -Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships -Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED preferred Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record Ability to pass drug test and background verifications Must hold active DOT Medical Card Must be at least 18 years of age PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobs.
