About the Role Workers Compensation Claims Examiner (Dedicated Client) – Rancho Cordova, CA. Hybrid (2 days onsite). This role focuses on adjudicating complex customer claims and delivering innovative, client‑focused solutions. Primary Purpose Analyze complex or technically difficult workers’ compensation claims to determine benefits due; manage high‑exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation; ensure adjudication within service expectations, industry best practices, and client requirements; identify subrogation opportunities and negotiate settlements. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Analyze and process claims through well‑developed action plans to a timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure. Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority. Communicate claim activity and processing to claimants and clients. Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests and directions in a professional and timely manner. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred. Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience required. High School Diploma or GED required. California jurisdictional knowledge required; SIP license required or to be obtained within one year of start date. Benefits Flexible work schedule.
