ART STUDENT NEEDED FOR HOSPICE PERSONALIZED PORTRAIT PROGRAM

Are You an Art Student Looking for Experience in Portrait Work While Also Building Your Portfolio?

Elara Caring is looking for passionate volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Hospice is specialized care to provide support for you and your family during advanced illness. Elara Caring focuses on comfort and quality of life rather than curative care- our passion is to enable you to live each day as fully as possible.Hospice is not about giving up; it is about getting help.

Elara Caring has a portrait program in place to create a one-of-a-kind gift for our patients and families.We are looking for local artists and art students who specialize in portrait work to recreate photos for our families in whatever style they like.Whether you like to use pencil and charcoal or prefer acrylic and paints, you have the artistic freedom to recreate their photo however you see fit.

We offer regular volunteer opportunities and an Advanced Hospice Volunteer Certification Program for students 16 years old and older.
