You will coordinate execution withWindandTransmission and Distributionleads, and engagein a variety of delivery models on behalf of clients.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of duties and will see you involved in:Own the regionalBESS strategy and go‑to‑market; prioritize roles asOwner’s Engineer, Independent Engineerandtechnical due diligenceacross development and financing stages.Lead programs spanningscreening/feasibility,techno‑economic sizing and optimizationof microgrids/hybrids involving battery systems and interface with interconnection and power system studiesBuild client relationships withdevelopers, utilities/ISOs, IPPs and financiers; shapecapture plans and proposalswith Relationship Managers and Pursuit Leaders.Develop and mentor across‑regional team; implementstandardized tools/playbooksand leverageGHD Global Collaboration Centres toscale design and studies.What you bring to the team:10–15 years in power systems or energy infrastructure, with at least 5+ years in utility-scale BESS or hybrid renewables + storage projects.Proven experience inOwner’s/Independent Engineer roles, interconnection studies, and EMS/SCADA integration. Familiarity withLi-ion BESS safety and fire protection standards (e.g., NFPA 855)required.Demonstrablepipeline development and captureperformance inhigh‑growth storagemarkets; fluency inhybrid dispatchandancillary servicesvalue‑stacks.The successful candidate will also have to meet the following requirements:B.Eng./B.Sc.
