Job Title: QA Technician

Job Description

We are seeking two dedicated QA Technicians for a large solar site in Hartsville, SC with additional sites once completed. These Technicians will be completing inspections on wire management, trenches, terminations and trenches. $100 a day in per diem.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical quality assurance tasks.

• Ensure posts and electrical installations meet specifications.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Perform conduit bending and wire pulling.

• Conduct pipe bending for electrical installations.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of solar electrical experience from the last 3 years.

• 2+ years of QA/QC experience in solar.

• Proficiency in using a tablet and filing reports.

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.

• Competence in reading a tape measure and ruler.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification.

• Willingness to engage in labor and non-electrical related tasks.

Work Environment

The work takes place outdoors at a solar project site in Hartsville, SC (100 MW). You will be working in a new construction environment, Monday through Friday, with shifts starting at 7 AM and lasting five hours. A Saturday shift is often utilized. The team takes three breaks daily, including morning, lunch, and afternoon. A safety talk is conducted each morning before work begins. Dress in appropriate outdoor work clothing for the site.

This is a Contract position based out of Hartsville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
