This role oversees and manages complex water and wastewater projects and collaborates with a diverse team of professionals in the construction industry. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of water and wastewater and pump station construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, contractors, and other professionals during all phases of project development and execution. Prepare, review, and update project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring activities align with these plans. Coordinate and supervise the construction process from conceptual development through final construction, ensuring works meet design specifications. Manage and resolve issues that arise during the project, and document and communicate any changes to all relevant parties. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects. Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of progress and changes. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the heavy civil/industrial construction sector. Proven experience in managing water and wastewater construction projects, including underground utilities, pump stations, site work, structural concrete; knowledge of process piping, mechanical piping, and yard piping is a plus. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and oversee a team of professionals. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively and efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects. Proficiency in project management software and relevant computer applications. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
