Category Manager
Patterson is seeking a Category Manager, Digital to lead strategy, pricing, and performance for our digital product portfolio in dental and animal health. In this role, you will analyze market trends, customer insights, and sales data to optimize assortment, drive margin, and grow revenue across e-commerce and digital channels. You will partner closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and vendors to develop promotional plans, negotiate programs, and ensure product availability. You will also manage lifecycle planning, support new product launches, and recommend improvements that enhance customer experience and business results.
Responsibilities
- Own digital category strategy for dental and animal health product lines
- Analyze sales, margin, and customer data to optimize assortment and pricing
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to create promotions and campaigns
- Partner with vendors to negotiate programs and manage relationships
- Coordinate with supply chain to ensure product availability and lifecycle management
- Lead digital product launches and support go-to-market execution
- Monitor competitive landscape and digital trends to identify growth opportunities
- Report on category performance and recommend data-driven improvements
