Assembler II

If our goals and values resonate with you, we would love to connect! As an Assembler II you will perform assembly operations to produce geotechnical instrumentation. You will assemble products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a timely and efficient manner that meets specified quality standards. Requirements Works with minimal assistance or oversite in the building of subassembly and finished goods. Able to read, comprehend, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings and work instructions. Perform all work in accordance with time standards while maintaining quality standards and safety procedures. Cable preparation; including stripping, tinning and labeling. Assemble using hand tools and power tools. Gluing and sealing using Loctite, epoxy, RTV and other compounds. Work with various sized materials. Solder and assemble various components. Trouble shoot errors or failures in product quality and process outputs. Notify trainer/technician when problems cannot be resolved. Handling of sensitive materials and equipment. Maintain equipment and a clean and safe work environment. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Identifies low inventory and communicates appropriate. Begins to rework assembled products according to specifications and verbal instructions. Setup and use test equipment to record, compile and evaluate data. Train, mentor and inspect the work of others as needed with leader direction. Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor. Assist in other functional areas when/if necessary. Your Contributions High school diploma or equivalent 1 to 3 years of work experience preferred. Basic computer skills Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and written Ability to understand quality control principles Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision Ability to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude Ability to keep records of production quantities and time Ability to work well with others and within a team environment Willingness to switch tasks frequently High attention to detail Ability to work from written instructions and read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, and safety rules Soldering experience required.
