Speech Language Pathologist - 2026/2027 School Year - BRAND NEW SCHOOL!!

Amergis Staffing is seeking an SLP for the 2026-2027 school year! The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify student needs

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans based on data

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and compliance with state and federal regulations

• Provide consultation and training to staff on communication strategies and accommodations

• Support students with a wide range of disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication

• Utilize evidence-based practices and assistive technology as appropriate
