The Process Engineer plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing systems per project requirements.**Responsibilities:*** Define and implement manufacturing systems appropriate for customer applications.* Support manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, Yield, Scrap and Downtime.* Establish and improve robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.* Capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.* Advanced troubleshooting of complex mechanical issues with high-speed automated manufacturing equipment.* Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.* Understanding the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.* Support creation and implementation of engineering change orders (ECOs).* Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.* Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.* Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.* Develop and maintain process documentation.* Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel.* Define, Implement, and evaluate proposed design updates and processes.* Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.* Create work instructions and coordinate training for facilities and production personnel.* Coordinate/participate in pFMEA of manufacturing processes* Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.**Qualifications:*** B.S. in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in related field.* Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical manufacturing or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.* Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience working in high-volume assembly processes.* Knowledge of automated equipment systems and tools - robotics, vision, material handling/part feeding systems, conveyors, ultrasonic welding, foil sealing, HMI/PLC controls.* Travel required – 5%MF15**What you'll receive for the great work you provide:*** Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans* Life Insurance* Short-term and Long-term Disability* Matching 401(k) Contributions* Vacation and Paid Sick Time* Tuition ReimbursementPay Range (Applicable to Illinois)### ### $96,400.00 USD - $132,500.00 USD Annual## ## Job CategoryProduction Engineering## NoFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
