This opportunity is based on a Warehouse Picker/Packer career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesPicking garments, uniforms, or other items from inventoryUsing a scanner or warehouse system to locate and verify itemsChecking quantities and order accuracyPreparing items for processing, packing, or shipmentMoving or lifting products throughout the warehouseKeeping the work area organized and following safety proceduresMeeting productivity and accuracy standardsWorking as part of a warehouse/distribution teamEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Experience reading pick tickets, packing lists, shipping labels, or electronic order systems. Ability to safely use RF scanners, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other warehouse equipment as required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy and quality. Dependable attendance and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.Preferred QualificationsPrevious warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience is preferred. Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial. Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, or order fulfillment best practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, productivity, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Order Picker.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely handle products while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
