Challenging Projects

As an Information Governance Specialist with JCTM, you will support IOD's information management, knowledge management, data stewardship, records management, content management, and governance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support organization, security, and maintenance of organizational information assets in compliance with governance standards.
• Support Government-approved management controls, processes, and procedures for DHS, CISA, and IOD information- and data-management programs.
• Coordinate support for IOD's Knowledge Management program and improve information accessibility, searchability, and findability.
• Support the IOD Data Stewards Program and best practices in data standards, data quality, and data inventory.
• Coordinate support for IOD's Records Management Program and adherence to applicable NARA, DHS, and CISA records standards.
• Support efficient processes associated with CUI, FOIA, Open Government, Open Data, Section 508 compliance, NARA records management, forms, cybersecurity standards, privacy, civil discovery rules, classified markings, and DHS/CISA records and information-management guidance.
• Support content management and administrative maintenance of information platforms and portals including SharePoint, CISA public-facing internet sites, and ServiceNow.
• Document and confirm as-is and to-be information-management processes and workflows and support approved process improvements.
• Support information-management projects from initiation through closure.

You Have

• Experience in knowledge management, content management, data management, information/data sharing, and electronic records management.
• Experience with the applicable Microsoft 365 suite capabilities.
• Experience supporting data governance, governance frameworks, information management, and related reviews or oversight.
• Experience with business-process modeling and project/program management or coordination.
• Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies, artificial intelligence or other emerging technologies, and applicable best practices/guidelines.

This requirement is Unclassified. Applicants selected will be subject to the applicable DHS/CISA personnel-security process and must satisfy the background-investigation, Entry on Duty, fitness, and access requirements applicable to the position and to sensitive Government information.
