MRI Technologist - PRN

Job Description Summary The MRI tech is responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the examinations described. Job Description The MRI Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, performs all MRI procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies. The MRI tech is responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures and operates sophisticated equipment with high technical proficiency. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties are performed as deemed necessary. Minimum Training and Education Graduate of an approved and accredited A.R.R.T. program. Graduate of an approved and accredited MRI program. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) MRI certification required (ARRT-MR). CPR certification required. SCRQSA preferred.
