Entry Light Assembler (Days)

Trinity Industries is hiring Entry Light Assembly Techs at our Holden America Chicago, IL location. Starting Pay for Position: $16.60 - $18.04 What You’ll Do: Perform inspection of parts or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements. Carry out a variety of standard testing processes on in‑process or final products during manufacturing or inspection; record and analyze results. Apply industry‑specific tests and equipment knowledge. Use automated and manual techniques to perform non‑destructive tests to identify errors or defects. Be responsible for testing during production and finished products. Follow all safety rules and practices. Participate in safety committees or continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment. Basic knowledge of operational functions to be inspected. Must be willing to achieve certification in at least one NDE method within 6 months. Perform basic quality control of incoming materials or end product.
