Bookkeeper

Private Early Childhood-8th grade Jewish Day School located in Western Monmouth County is in immediate need of a full charge bookkeeper capable of expertly entering, tracking, and managing financial data in QuickBooks (soon to be transitioned to Blackbaud). Additional duties include, but are not limited to all phases and aspects of: Accounts Payable/ Accounts receivable Prepare & send invoices for student fees, tuition, clubs, kids care, supplies, etc. Set up families on Tuition Payment system Record payments Collections - Maintain AR and contact parents for past due tuition Negotiate prices with Vendors Banking Bank reconciliations Deposits Review cash balances and advise Treasurer of any issues Manage commercial banking and insurance relationships Payroll & Human Resources Process payroll electronically utilizing a payroll processing company Complete mandated forms (i.e. Disability, Family leave Unemployment, Hiring, Background checks) Maintain employee benefit and 403 (b) records Monthly / yearly financial reporting Prepare monthly financial data for review by Head of School, Board of Trustees and Treasurer Prepare annual budget Attend and report at monthly board meetings Assist with annual audits conducted by outside CPA firm Collect, review, & analyze student family financial aid information for presentation to Financial Aid Committee #J-18808-Ljbffr JRN Associates
