Cafe Associate

IMAGINATION STATION — Café Associate (Part Time: 20–25 hrs/week) This position reports to the Cafe Manager and is responsible for greeting and serving visitors and for providing quality food service through experienced food preparation and a comfortable and clean environment. Greet all visitors with a welcoming demeanor and assist them with their selection. Responsibilities Operate the grill, deep fryer and deli counter Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer after each shift Be sure that all areas are stocked and presentable at all times Maintain all serving areas to provide a clean environment and food safety Effectively learn and implement outlined Fire & Emergency procedures Engage in ongoing training and professional development experiences Prioritize and coordinate busy times with lunch and task schedules Respond quickly and professionally to visitors requests Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Must have food service experience. Must have cash handling experience. Must have the ability to balance a cash drawer. Knowledge of Health Department Standards. Ability to quickly and efficiently adapt to change. The ability to multi-task as needed. Physical Demands This position requires routine walking, standing, bending and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
