Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed LDRP unit, 4-bed GYN/Post-op area, 14 well-baby beds, and a 3-bed Special Care Nursery
• Support labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care within a facility delivering approximately 900 births per year
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and pediatricians to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Float occasionally to Med/Surg, ICU, or Emergency Department as needed (approximately 2–3 times per 13-week contract)
• Adhere to facility protocols, documentation standards, and compliance requirements throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Ability and willingness to float to Med/Surg, ICU, and ER on an occasional basis
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a first-time traveler welcome; strong orientation to unit expectations is provided
• Familiarity with LDRP and Special Care Nursery environments preferred
• Comfort working in a high-volume obstetrics setting with a collaborative multidisciplinary team
