Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and design personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve functional success.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-driven methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide well-rounded care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers essential techniques to encourage progress beyond the therapy sessions.
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring each patient remains on their path to recovery.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensure and Certifications

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
