Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States Location(s) 9060 Junction Dr, Annapolis Junction , Maryland 20701 , United States Job Description ToyotaLift Northeast is now one of the largest Toyota material handling resources on the East coast and supplies the industry’s best products and forklifts for sale in upstate New York, South Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. ToyotaLift Northeast is hiring for a reliable and customer-focused CDL Driver to transport material handling equipment to and from customer locations. This role is critical in representing our company in the field and ensuring a high level of service that supports our reputation and growth. In addition to deliveries, this position works closely with our in-house service team to manage the organization, storage, and overall upkeep of our rental fleet. What You’ll Do Safely transport material handling equipment to customer sites and return equipment to the facility Perform daily DOT inspections prior to deliveries and pick-ups Maintain accurate electronic DOT logs in compliance with federal and state regulations Ensure proper load securement and safe operation of all equipment during transport Provide basic equipment operation guidance to customers upon delivery Complete all delivery and contract paperwork, including obtaining customer signatures Inspect equipment before delivery and upon return, document any damage or missing items Perform minor, non-technical repairs and adjustments as needed Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of delivery vehicles, trailers, and equipment Coordinate routine maintenance, inspections, and emergency service for vehicles Communicate delays, issues, or scheduling changes promptly Support Sales and Service teams with equipment deliveries and returns as needed Assist with organizing and maintaining the rental fleet within the warehouse Perform additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking for Working knowledge of DOT regulations and delivery truck operations Experience with equipment hauling and load securement Mechanical aptitude and basic technical skills Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills High attention to detail, especially with documentation and paperwork Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure What You’ll Need High School Diploma or equivalent Valid CDL license with a minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience Forklift experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, kneeling, and crouching Ability to operate a vehicle for up to 10 hours Strong verbal communication skills and ability to hear and speak clearly Must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment Some overnight travel may be required Vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus What We Offer Competitive compensation Training and development opportunities Stable, growing industry with long‑term customer relationships Toyotalift Northeast is dedicated to being an Equal Opportunity Employer.
