Job Responsibilities
Job Description:

The volunteer consultant will assist the Occupational Health (OH) Surveillance Program with conducting a quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of the 2019/2022 Georgia Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) bereavement data. The consultant will 1) Conduct weekly writing skills and critical thinking sessions with the OH/bereavement interns; 2) Lead the qualitative analysis of BRFSS bereavement data; 3) Assist in drafting manuscripts for publication; 4) Assist in the development of bereavement resource guides for Georgia employers and employees, including best practices for employers to support employees coping with grief and coping strategies for employees.
