Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Boise, Idaho. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-volume maternity environment, supporting patients with various obstetric conditions and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Boise, Idaho
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery Department
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekends as needed, with shifts subject to float to Meridian and Nampa hospitals as well as to the high-risk Antepartum unit within a 20-minute radius.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 3 years of experience in labor and delivery; certifications including Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Fetal Monitoring Courses; BSN degree preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with obstetric diagnoses such as preeclampsia, previa, twin pregnancies, and diabetic management; proficiency in titrating drips such as Pitocin and insulin; circulating in labor and delivery units, OR, and antepartum settings.
• Responsibilities: Collaboration with charge nurses and specialists, initial resuscitation until Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team arrives, reading cardiac strips from electronic fetal monitoring systems, and performing designated clinical duties in a high-acuity environment.
• Orientation: One shift in each areaLabor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Operating Room.
