About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Conflux Systems Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Kealakekua, Hawaii, 96750!

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and patient responses to treatment.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS may be preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients.
