This role requires hands-on experience with automation systems, commissioning processes, troubleshooting methodologies, and performance optimization of integrated mechanical and software systems.
Our client, a leader in advanced robotics and automation technology, is seeking a Robotics Controls Engineer / Systems Engineer III to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and hands-on automation experience that will align successfully within the organization. What’s the Job?
- Design, develop, test, and deploy industrial control systems and robotics work cells.
- Develop PLC and HMI applications for automated systems and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and optimize integrated systems involving robotics platforms and industrial networks.
- Support commissioning, deployment, and validation of automation systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve system throughput, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- 5–7 years of experience in controls systems engineering or industrial automation.
- Strong experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and controls integration.
- Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 programming languages.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial networks such as Ether CAT, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Pro finet.
- Hands-on experience with robotics work cells, servo drives, safety systems, and automated machinery.
