Management and Ownership opportunities through mentorship and continuing education. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. New York State Physical Therapist license in good standing or eligible to obtain licensure. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care with a genuine desire to help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals. Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes. Responsibilities Evaluate patients' medical history and perform a thorough physical assessment to develop a personalized treatment plan. Develop and implement effective and evidence-based physical therapy interventions to address patients' individual needs and goals. Provide hands‑on manual therapy, exercises, and other therapeutic modalities to improve patients functional abilities and promote recovery. Collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise and preventative measures. Document patient progress, treatment plans and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines. Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques, research and trends to enhance clinical practice. Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting patients rights and dignity.
