Sign On Bonus After 90 days

Salary: $55,000 - $73,125
Associate Level License - $55,000 - $61,875 (LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT)
Independent Level License - $65,000 - $73,125 (LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)

Educational Requirements:   This position requires a Licensed Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling (or in process of obtaining licensure) or Marriage and Family.Employees will comply with all supervision requirements of their respective Board. 

Duties/Responsibilities: The outpatient therapist must maintain a caseload of consumers and complete accurate, current records of that caseload. This includes the Diagnostic Screening Assessment, Health Assessment (initial and annual), Bio-Psychosocial Assessment (initial and annual), Treatment Plan, Treatment/Service Plan Review, Continuing Care, and Termination Summary. The co-occuring  therapist will participate in regularly scheduled staffing's?, case conferences, and consultations with other staff, as needed. All other duties outlined in current job description. 

Skills/Knowledge:     Experience in Behavioral Health setting is a plus. Outpatient therapist will display competency in working with computers and electronic devices necessary for completing their tasks.  

Summary/Objective

The behavioral health professional position is responsible for offering guidance to individuals, couples, and groups who are dealing with issues that affect their mental health, quality of life, and general well-being. The behavioral health professional will work closely with those seeking services ensuring that their changing needs are addressed on an ongoing basis and that the individuals are provided assistance in developing the coping strategies and tools needed in order for them to improve their lives and mental health. Behavioral health professionals are expected to provide the individuals served with linkage, consultation, and referrals to other service providers as needed in order to meet the individualized ongoing needs of each client. In addition, this individual is required to work successfully with representatives from various communities, organizations and neighborhoods with respect to the diverse populations and cultures, serves and seeks to serve. The behavioral health professional will also adhere to the code of ethics for their profession.

 

Essential Functions

1. Completes initial assessment and intake of the client
2. Develops Master Treatment Plan
3. Reviews and edits treatment plans as needed, at least every 90 days
4. Uses appropriate modalities during sessions with Clients
5. Participation in development of the client's service plan
6. Referrals, linkage, and coordination of Medicaid and non-Medicaid services
7. Advocacy
8. Monitoring
9. Leads group sessions, as assigned by Supervisor
10. Develop or improve materials used in group therapy sessions based on expertise and experience, under direct supervision
11. Reassessment and follow-up
12. Attends and Participates in Treatment Team Meetings
13. Establishment and maintenance of case records
14. Crisis assistance planning
15. Work with individuals, groups, and communities to improve mental health
16. Encourage clients to discuss emotions and experiences
17. Examine issues including but not limited to substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress, suicidal ideation, trauma, and anxiety.
18. Work with families when necessary
19. Develop therapeutic processes
20. Complete linking and collaboration with referral sources and service providers as needed.
21. Assist individuals with defining goals
22. Responsible for the scheduling of 30 direct time hours weekly and completing a minimum of 24 hours of direct time weekly.
23. Submitting session notes within 48 hours of the service being provided.
24. Complete and maintain documentation of a minimum of six (6) hours of training or continuing education.
25. Represents the company at community events in professional manner.
26. Complete 2 Community Events every 6 months (4 total in a year), with sufficient proof of attendance
27. Performs other related duties as assigned.
