Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience working in school settings is highly preferred
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a variety of communication needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine eligibility for speech and language services
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for IEP meetings and ongoing evaluation
• Provide resources and guidance to teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Stay current with best practices and professional development in speech-language pathology
