Technical Writer

To support critical business operations across North America, the part-time hourly Technical Writer will collaborate with subject matter experts to create clear documentation, including work instructions and process documentation, while working remotely or onsite in Portland, OR. Key responsibilities Partner with business process experts to gather information and develop user-friendly work instructions Lead stakeholder meetings to clarify documentation requirements and translate complex information into standardized formats Create and maintain various business process documents, including flowcharts and quick reference guides Required qualifications Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in Technical Writing, Business Writing, Communications, or a related field 3 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Business Process Writer, or Business Process Analyst Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Visio, along with strong working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint Experience documenting business processes and creating end-user documentation Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously
