Ascent Administration Services is a fast-growing vehicle service contract administrator specializing in mechanical breakdown claims. We partner with dealerships, repair facilities, and agents across the country to deliver fair, accurate, and timely claims decisions.

We are looking for someone with a strong automotive background who enjoys diagnosing vehicle failures, reviewing repair information, and working with repair facilities to determine coverage eligibility.

This is NOT a collision or auto insurance adjuster position. Our Claims Adjusters specialize in mechanical breakdowns covered under vehicle service contracts.

If you have worked as a technician, service advisor, warranty administrator, parts specialist, dealership employee, or in another automotive role, we would love to hear from you!

What you will do

• Review and evaluate automotive mechanical repair claims
• Analyze repair estimates, technician findings, inspection reports, and diagnostic information
• Communicate with repair facilities, dealerships, inspectors, and customers regarding claim status and repair needs
• Request and review supporting documentation including:
• • Photos
  • Videos
  • Scan tool reports
  • Freeze-frame data
  • Maintenance records
  • Teardown findings
• Determine claim eligibility based on vehicle service contract coverage
• Review labor times using industry labor guides
• Verify parts pricing for accuracy
• Approve or deny repairs while maintaining complete claim documentation
• Work closely with repair facilities to ensure efficient claim resolution

Required Qualifications

• Strong automotive mechanical knowledge
• Ability to understand vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
• Comfortable reading repair estimates and service information
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to make objective, well-documented decisions

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Automotive Technician
• Service Advisor
• Warranty Administrator
• Parts Specialist
• Dealership Service Department
• Fleet Maintenance
• Automotive Repair Facility
• Mechanical Claims Adjusting

Previous vehicle service contract or warranty claims experience is helpful but not required!

Monday - Friday

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

No weekends.
