Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service, ensuring accurate load and unload procedures, and maintaining a professional driving record. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving skills and attention to detail make a real impact.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for local route deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients during drop-offs and pickups
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
Follow designated routes efficiently while managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules
Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving goods, organizing inventory, and supporting loading/unloading operations when necessary

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or box truck operator with route driving expertise
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously
Experience with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely and efficiently
Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certifications preferred)
Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices for heavy vehicles with manual transmission
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and route planning
