Job Title: Travel- Surgical Tech
Location: Hanford, California
Department/Unit: [Specify Unit]
Salary Range: $30 to $45 per hour
Shift: Evening Shift (1:30 PM - 9:00 PM)
Call Requirement: One assigned day per week, rotating between first and second call with one weekend call approximately every 5-6 weeks; buddy call assigned within the first to second weekend after arrival.
Duration: 8 weeks (Contract)
Job DescriptionElitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Surgical Tech for a contract position in Hanford, California. This role is essential for supporting surgical teams and ensuring high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Ensure all surgical instruments are accounted for before and after procedures.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments according to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document all relevant information related to surgical procedures accurately.
- Current Surgical Technology certification (CST) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Contract Duration: 8 weeks.
