As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you’ll use your skills, empathy, and professionalism to deliver consistent, high-quality care that strengthens the lives of our clientsandtheir families. We are seeking dependable, CNA-level experienced caregivers who can confidently support clients throughout Cheyenne and the surrounding areas. What You’ll Do: As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you will consistently demonstrate behaviors that promote dignity, independence, and trust. On a typical day, you will: Build meaningful relationships Initiate friendly, engaging conversations that make clients feel heard and valued. Participate in clients’ preferred activities—such as gardening, scrapbooking, or playing games to encourage social engagement. Support daily living with professionalism Assist clients with walking, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and other personal care tasks while maintaining their comfort and safety. Prepare simple, nutritious meals and support safe eating routines. Promote safety and independence Observe clients’ mobility, behavior, and physical or cognitive changes and report concerns promptly through our communication app. Follow care plans accurately and adjust your approach to meet each client's daily needs. Maintain accurate documentation Use the electronic caregiver mobile app to clock in/out, record completed tasks, and update client notes in a timely and detailed manner. Contribute to a positive team environment Communicate clearly with families, supervisors, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Respond to schedule updates and care plan changes with professionalism and reliability. Key Responsibilities You will be expected to demonstrate these behaviors consistently: Personal Care Provide safe assistance with bathing, mobility, transfers, positioning, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, medication reminders, feeding, and dressing. Assist clients with all care plan ADLs and IADLs Safely transfer and position clients, including repositioning a client in an occupied bed Provide care for hospice clients and clients at end of life Support clients with a variety of diagnoses, including Parkinson’s disease, dementia, stroke, and ALS Observe, document, and report changes in physical or mental condition to supervisors immediately Provide companionship and protective oversight Transport clients safely by vehicle Companionship & Household Support Engage clients in conversation and recreation. Prepare light meals, perform light housekeeping, manage laundry, assist with shopping and errands, and provide incidental transportation. Help clients maintain an organized and comfortable home environment. At least one year of professional CNA-level caregiving experience. 18 years of age or older. Legal identification and authorization to work in the U.S. Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts. Ability to use a smartphone for electronic scheduling, communication, and documentation.
