Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Asheville, NC.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM

Location: USA - NC - Asheville - 257 Biltmore Avenue

Contract Length: 3 months Pay Range: 20/HR. Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups. Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 - 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
