Certified Pharmacy Technician – Charleston, SCDynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our growing organization. We are a different kind of company with a truly unique culture-one that celebrates people in all forms, values our employees, and shares a mutual devotion to serving our clients with the highest level of integrity.This role currently includes extended shifts due to operational needs:1st Shift (Current): 5:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.2nd Shift (Current): 3:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.Note: Monday–Thursday shifts include built-in overtime (10-hour shifts), which is a key component of this role.Once staffing levels are stabilized, the schedule is expected to transition to:1st Shift (Standard): 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.2nd Shift (Standard): 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.Core Pharmacy Technician Functions:Prepare and dispense medications while maintaining accurate patient recordsPrepare, package, label, and distribute medication doses prescribed by physiciansMaintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies, including stocking, rotating, and checking expiration datesFill and stock medications in automated dispensing systems and storage locationsOperate pharmacy automation equipment including: Autofill devices, Baker Cells, Kalish Cells, A-frames, Repackaging equipment, Electronic scalesRead computer screens, use scanning equipment, and select medications by name, strength, and National Drug Code (NDC)Perform cleaning and first-level preventative maintenance on pharmacy equipmentFollow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocolsHandle hazardous materials and pharmaceutical waste in accordance with safety guidelinesCertified Technician Responsibilities (Expanded Scope):Process and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification in open product areasHandle and support workflows involving controlled substancesSupport TCA replenishment processesPerform manual hand count operations with high accuracyRequired Qualifications:Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required (PTCB or equivalent, if applicable by state/federal guidelines)Minimum 6 months of pharmacy experience (retail, hospital, or production environment preferred)High School Diploma or GED requiredBasic math and calculation skillsBasic computer and typing proficiencyAbility to read, write, and speak English fluently (per federal requirements)Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsPush/pull up to 150 lbs using carts or pallet jacksStand or sit for extended periods (8–10 hours)Perform repetitive motions, bending, reaching, and liftingSalary is commensurate with experience, with consistent overtime opportunities built into the current schedule.Dynamic Integrated Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a diverse workforce.
