Candidates should have experience in post-cardiac catheterization groin management. Candidates must be able to initiate and monitor Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Primacor drips. Candidates should be proficient in reading cardiac telemetry strips. Candidates will rotate between cardiac telemetry and step-down patients. The cardiac telemetry ratio is 1:5-1:7. The step-down ratio is 1:4. COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required. Flu vaccination and booster are also required. Candidates with step-down experience will be required to float to areas where needed. Experience with bedside cardioversion is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable managing post-procedure patients. Candidates must have a systematic approach to EKG rhythm interpretation.
