Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Tennessee

Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 30-bed Med/Surg-Telemetry unit with daily census of 15–20 patients
• Patient ratios of 1:6 during night shifts
• EPIC charting system with Omnicell medication management
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Care for adult and geriatric populations with diverse diagnoses including ortho trauma, bariatric surgery, and total joint replacements
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during contract

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
• At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Competency with IV management, central lines, feeding tubes, telemetry monitoring, and colostomy/ileostomy care
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Willingness to float to similar units based on skill set when needed
