As a Lawn Applicator, you will be responsible for safely applying fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and other chemicals to enhance the beauty and safety of residential and commercial properties. Duties

• Safely operate lawn care equipment, including sprayers, spreaders, power tools, and farm machinery to apply chemical agents accurately across designated areas
• Follow strict pesticide management protocols and integrated pest management strategies to control pests effectively while minimizing environmental impact
• Adhere to all chemical agent handling procedures, including proper storage, mixing, and disposal of pesticides and fertilizers
• Conduct confined space entry safety procedures when necessary for specialized applications or maintenance tasks
• Implement ladder safety procedures when working at heights on trees or elevated surfaces during treatment applications
• Perform routine inspections of lawns and landscapes to identify pest issues, disease symptoms, or nutrient deficiencies
• Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, treatment locations, and safety compliance in accordance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in lawn care, pest control, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable
• Knowledge of pesticide management, integrated pest management practices, and entomology principles
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery used in landscaping and lawn maintenance
• Ability to follow detailed safety procedures related to respiratory protection and confined space entry safety protocols
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles or equipment on job sites
• Strong understanding of ladder safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during application tasks
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on job progress effectively
